Berber
This collection of Berber style rugs are woven in the village of Kaloke, a village in the province of Punjab, Pakistan. Most of the people in this village are involved in weaving these berber style rugs. Each piece is hand knotted using a cotton warp as the base of the rug with the wool pile then knotted securely onto this.
On the light with dark detailed design's only natural un-dyed wool has been used. This provides depth, contrast and individuality into each piece. The multi colour options will have been dyed using modern/chemical dyes as standard to achieve desired results.
